     The origin of the name Celestia (seh LES tee ah) from Latin meaning "Divine".4 She was born on 30 August 1827 at Saratoga County, New York.1,5,3,6 She was the daughter of Eleazer Jordan and Hannah Unknown.1 She appeared on the census of 1830 in the household of Eleazer Jordan and Hannah Unknown at Hadley, Saratoga County, New York; with three additional persons in the household. These people included a woman aged 20-29 (Fanny), a girl under 5 (Celestia), and a boy under 5 (John).1 She married John Lindsey DeLong in May 1847 at Moriah, Essex County, New York.7,8 She and John Lindsey DeLong appeared on the census of 12 June 1860 at North Hudson, Essex County, New York.9 She and John Lindsey DeLong appeared on the census of 2 August 1870 at North Hudson, Essex County, New York.10 She and John Lindsey DeLong appeared on the census of 2 June 1875 at North Hudson, Essex County, New York.11 She and John Lindsey DeLong appeared on the census of 23 June 1900 at Elizabethtown Township, Essex County, New York.7 She died on 18 October 1907 at New York at age 80.3

He married Mavis Ione Burud, daughter of Lawrence Burud and Olga Dahlby, on 14 July 1956 at Moorhead, Clay County, Minnesota.2 He and Mavis Ione Burud lived in 1987 at Bismark, Burleigh County, North Dakota.3 He died on 6 September 1994 at Minnesota at age 61.1

Dion Jordan JANESVILLE — Dion Garrow Jordan, 18, of 2137 S. Walnut St.,
Janesville, WI, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, as a result of an automobile
accident near Janesville. Dion was born in Janesville on August 11, 1988,
son of Scott Jordan and Barbara Garrow (Guenther). He attended Parker and
Craig high schools and graduated in 2006 from Fort McCoy Challenge Academy.
He was currently employed at the John Deere U.S. Distribution Center.
Dion loved fishing, playing pool, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
When he was younger, Dion played Little League baseball and loved shooting
hoops with his brother, Cole, and his stepdad, Leo. Dion was very proud of
his Native American heritage and belonged to the Red Cliff tribe from his
dad's ancestry. Dion and his siblings and cousins enjoyed times together
at his grandparents, Joe and Lil Garrows' place, on the Wisconsin River
and at his grandparents, Guenther's, pool in the summertime. Dion and his
brother, Cole (who is a Packers fan) watched football games together in their
team shirts. He lovingly gave his sister, Jackie, a hard time and was a great
buddy to his younger brothers and sisters. Dion was loved and will be deeply
missed by his parents, Barbara (Leo) Guenther and Scott (Traci) Jordan,
all of Janesville; his brothers and sisters: Jaclynn (16), Cole (12),
Brooke (10), Bailey (6), and Chase (4), all of Janesville;
his grandparents: Joe and Lil Garrow of Freeport, IL, Harvey Jordan of
Edgerton, WI, and Sandra Guenther of Janesville;
aunts and uncles: Deb (Jesse) Purdue of Cedarville, IL, Diane Garrow of
Lena, IL, Karen (Fred) Homan and Sue (Shawn) Dietmeier of Freeport, IL,
Gwen (Janice) Jordan, Matt and Doug Jordan of Wisconsin, Denise Jordan,
Janice Jordan, Kelly, Jeff and Dan Guenther of Janesville;
numerous cousins: Joe (Jenny) Pieper, Dallas (Zach) Rackow, Amanda and
Katlyn Purdue, Lauren Homan, Marta, Andele and Leah Dietmeier and
Mary Beth Clark, all of Freeport, IL, Danielle Jordan, Jenna Jordan,

in death by his paternal grandmother, Ursula Showers of Edgerton, WI;
and maternal great-grandparents, Lynn and Lillian Johnson of South Carolina.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007,
at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville. Funeral
services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, at HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL
HOME, with Pastor Michael Jackson of New Life Assembly of God officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A memorial Fund will be established
in Dion's memory. Assisting the family is HENKE-CLARSON FUNERAL HOME
(608-741-1713).2
